It should come as no surprise that ballooning debt from student loans is having a serious impact on the nation's economy. Currently, over 43 million individuals are stricken with some amount of student loan debt with the total debt for the nation soaring above 1.25 trillion dollars. It is time to call for real action from our government to reform this unsustainable system and to assess the costs of an increasingly required higher education.
